Michael Bolton
Principal
Michael Bolton has in excess of 15 years' experience in projects from all sides of the fence – customer, vendor and consultant. His experience includes Project & Programme Management, PMO Consulting, Project Assurance and Change Management in the Information Technology industry. Together with Rod Adams, he established Quay in 2006.
Michael has held senior management roles in International IT companies including International Vice President of Finance and International Managing Director for Global Distributors BI solutions. Prior to direct involvement in IT, Michael was a senior chartered accountant with a specialisation in auditing including a number of IT clients.
Michael specialises in Project Management Office, Project and Program Management, Project Assurance, Onshore/Offshoring, Application Development and Application and Data Integration having successfully delivered engagements in a number of high profile organisations including in recent times:

Having been engaged with some of the largest projects in Australia, Michael has created and implemented an extensive Assurance Methodology that has become a fundamental part of our consultancy business – both for clients and Quay alike.
Michael is well known in the project management industry, being a past Treasurer of the Project Management Institute Sydney Chapter 2008 and 2009.
