Rod Adams
Principal
Rod Adams has over 15 years experience in the Information Technology and Finance sectors having originally qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in the insolvency industry. Together with Michael Bolton, he established Quay Consulting in 2006.
Rod specialises in Project and Program Management, having delivered large transformational projects or programs of work across a variety of industries including:
- Funds Management and Banking (National Australia BankGroup)
- Express Logistics and Shipping (DHL - Europe)
- Utilities (Sydney Water Corporation)
- Media (News Ltd)
- Consulting (PwC - UK)
- Advertising (The Cordiant Group and Sports and Outdoor Media PLC)
- Telecommunications (Cable and Wireless Optus) and
- IT outsourcing (Computer Science Corporation) to name a few.
- Health (QLD Health)
Rod is well versed in Project Management and Change Management methodologies having been exposed to a variety of standard methodologies (including PMBOK*, Prince2* and others) and other in-house developed approaches.
Rod has also operated as a PMO consultant developing Project Management Methodologies (News Limited, MLC, IAG) and deploying them to large Project Management communities as well as acting as a Project Mentor to Project Mangers of in-flight projects.
Rod has a wealth of experience in delivering Quality Assurance Reviews including:

- BRRs a
- Stage Gate (point in time)
Rod has been an active participant on the Quay Quality Assurance Panel for the last 3 years and has in this time provided internal QA services to multiple projects reviews for multiple clients including regularly reviewing Sydney Water Quality Assurance Reviews.
