If cycling for 12 hours sounds like a challenge, it pales in comparison to a child going through chemo every day.
More than 625 Australian kids are diagnosed with cancer every year and three die every week.
On Friday 8th May, 2015, Quay Consulting will be taking part in Endure For A Cure, a team cycling event in support of the Children’s Cancer Institute. It’s our second year on the circuit and we’re aiming to beat last year’s fundraising target of $6000.
In 2014 we raised just shy of $7000, with our team of riders cycling more than 1160kms in 12 hours.
Why We’re S upporting Childhood Cancer Institute
For more than 30 years, Children’s Cancer Institute has been at the forefront of research into this devastating disease.
As an independent medical research institute, their work focuses on the causes and forms of cancer that develop in children and developing approaches to treatment that are appropriate for childhood cancers.
It’s vital work because childhood cancers are different to adult cancers and most investment goes to adult cancer research.

We’re also recruiting riders to join Team Quay on what will be an awesome day to show solidarity with sick kids and their families. We want to clock as many kilometres as possible over the 12-hour event at the Brabham Circuit at Eastern Creek.
