Endure for a Cure is a ride in solidarity for the 950 kids and their families that get the devastating diagnosis of cancer every year in Australia.
The vision of the Children’s Cancer Institute of Australia is simple: Save the lives of all children with cancer and eliminate their suffering.
There are no sprints in treating cancer. That’s why Team Quay is taking a third tilt at enduring for a cure to raise much-needed research dollars: to help CCIA find better treatments and the end-goal of a cure for children’s cancers.
In 2015 we raised just over $10,000 for CCIA – this year we want to beat it.
We’d like to invite you to help raise funds for CCIA. We’re a motley crew of serious cycling nuts, corporate heavyweights, weekend warriors and a few lycra-loving hobby riders. We’ll be one of many corporate teams striving to work up as many laps as we can – with aiding and abetting from multiple riders – on the day.
But all joking aside, we’re saddling up for a 12 hour closed circuit ride at Eastern Creek to help kids get beat cancer. It’s a great day out for a very worthy cause and we’ll have a lot of support on hand to help teams to get as many km’s in as possible. From 7am to 7pm, our team will be taking laps of the Sydney Motorsport Park at Eastern Creek.
